There's something special going on at FortWhyte Alive. As twilight approaches each night, thousands of geese gather on their waters for the night. Last week, my friend Rachel and I watched in complete awe as flock after flock made their way across the pink-streaked skies. The water was absolutely covered with the fluttering black specks within twenty minutes past sunset. After enjoying the spectacle, we cooked our own bannock over an open fire, and went home with smiles stretched across our faces.
