Discovering an Old Building

I'm fascinated by the internal structure and design of buildings and homes. I often joke to Chris that if it was legal, I'd sign up to tour people's homes while they're unoccupied during the day. When I'm on vacation, I love exploring old churches, libraries and even government buildings for this reason.

On Thursday, during the Muddy Waters Magazine launch party, I finally had the opportunity to see the inside of this beautiful old mansion on Roslyn. A building I'd gazed at in wonder for ages. It didn't disappoint: marbled flooring, sky-high ceilings and mouldings to die for, it was all I could do not to sneak off and explore the whole place.
