TravelersBox
One of my minor travelling annoyances is leftover foreign currency. I try to spend it all, but there are inevitably a few coins or small bills left over that the end of a trip. Every. Single. Time.
That's why I was pretty psyched when TravelersBox reached out to me over Twitter. TravelersBox has kiosks in airports around the world where you can input your foreign currency and deposit it into an eWallet, make a donation to a charity or convert it into an eGift card.
No more useless foreign money jammed into your junk drawer at home.
Currently, TravelersBox has kiosks in Turkey, Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara's airports, but they have plans to expand to over 40 major cities around the world in countries like Italy, Brazil, Singapore, China and India.
Although TravelersBox reached out to me, I have not been compensated in any way for this post. I just genuinely think it's a good service and hope it's a useful piece of information for my readers.
