Meet Me at Cornerstone

Although there are a lot of bars and restaurants clustered in the Osborne area, I always felt a bit of a yearning for a nice, mellow drinking spot with solid food. Cornerstone meets those needs. Since it opened a few months ago, it's been my go-to meeting spot for a drink, some light appetizers or a full meal.

Cornerstone has a solid cocktail menu (their twist on an old fashioned, infused with lavender, is my personal favourite) and a variety of reasonably priced beers. The food is perfect. Not overly fancy, but flavourful and well-prepared with quality ingredients.

The interior is light and minimalist. My favourite spot is up at the bar, looking out at the entertainment Osborne has to offer.
