I'm an avid traveller living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with my partner and our dog. I began Full Belly, Worn Soles in April of 2013 as a way to document my travels and offer advice to fellow travellers.

I work as an English teacher and barista (which I love) and travel in my spare time. Because of this, I not only write about my travel experiences, but feature regular posts on finding the spirit of travel in your hometown, however big or small. In addition to travel advice based on my experiences, you'll also find reviews, suggestions for smaller getaways and my thoughts on how to feel like you're on vacation even when you're at home.
